INTRO OF ARCIGIS IN OIL AND GAS

Introduction to ArcGIS Talk is an initiative by University of Malaya’s American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) Student Chapter. ArcGIS is a software that provides geographic information system services and has been globally used by geologists. In this talk, the speakers would share insights on how ArcGIS acts as a tool in geoscience application in oil and gas. The speakers for this talk are the representatives from the pioneer of the oil and gas industry in Malaysia, PETRONAS. The first speaker is Mr. Afiq from the Geomatics department who has 11 years of experience in the field. The second speaker, Ms. Dayang Hasspariah is a Principal Stratigraphy in the Exploration Basin & Petroleum System Team with 15 years of experience.
