INTRODUCTION TO SEISMIC STRATISGRAPHY
Sharing session on how seismic stratigraphy is used in many industry especially in upstream oil and gas industry
Mr. Nor Azhar Ibrahim which is currently the senior geophysicist at Eliis Sdn Bhd with 25 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry including research, exploration and development. He received a BSc. Applied Science (Geophysics) from University of Science Malaysia. He has spent 22 years of his experience at Energy Quest Sdn Bhd, PETRONAS Carigali and PETRONAS Research as geophysicist. His main interests are in seismic interpretation, seismic attributes analysis and seismic stratigraphy for research, hydrocarbon exploration and development projects. He is a registered Professional Geologist with Board of Geologists Malaysia (BoG) and Associate member of SEG.
