PETROBOWL COMPETITION 2023
A quiz competition where technical and nontechnical petroleum industry-related questions were asked
AAPG UM SC organized the Petrobowl competition during the first day of Geoscience Industrial Week 2023 which took place in Ixora Lecture Hall, Faculty of Science. The competition adopted a quiz-type format using Quizizz as the main platform, featuring technical and non-technical questions about the oil and gas industry. Nearly 50 students from the Universiti Malaya and MRSM Sungai Besar participated.
Throughout the competition, participants engaged in an intense session of answering questions within a limited time frame. Those who scored 12 marks and above received a free tote bag exclusively designed by AAPG UM SC. The competition provided all participants with valuable insights and knowledge about the oil and gas industry. Overall, the competition was a resounding success.
